Investing in Information Awards

Background
The mission of the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium is to lead the development of a comprehensive health data system to address the health information needs of the Commonwealth for the purpose of improving health care and health.  In order to accomplish this, we rely on the advice and support of employers/purchasers, insurers, providers, government agencies, health policy makers and consumers.  Each sector can invest capital, knowledge and leadership to improve the state's health information infrastructure and to promote efficient and effective communication among all participants in the health care system.
Since 1996, MHDC's Investing in Information Awards have honored organizations and individuals who have invested capital, knowledge and leadership to use traditional and state-of the art technologies to promote efficient and effective communication of health information.
