Beyond Compliance:
Meeting Today’s Complex Strategic Priorities

May 16, 2017 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Presented by HealthNET Systems Consulting, Inc.

Meaningful Use has demanded much of IT’s attention and resources in recent years, but meeting that challenge was relatively straight-forward and tactical in nature. Today, the market is accelerating its shift of financial risk to providers to “bend the cost curve,” raising the stakes to operate efficiently and effectively.

Providers today require economies of scale to operate successfully, accelerating mergers and acquisitions and driving population health, big data and analytics, and data security.

This acceleration to “value-based” care highlights major hurdles health information executives must clear, including:

  • Post-merger integration of disparate clinical and non-clinical systems, data centers and warehouses, and multiple, competing file-sharing and cloud services.
  • No integrated patient record across multiple inpatient and ambulatory settings.
  • New “macro” strategic priorities such coordinated care and population health management.
  • Keeping up with proliferating technology products & services (e.g., business intelligence, analytics, mobile device management, the cloud, FHIR and other interoperability innovations).
  • Securing the organization’s data and reducing exposure to risk.
  • Limited, if any, additional funds.

Join Clifton Jay and Mary Ann Keane from HealthNET Systems Consulting, Inc. for this mini-workshop on developing sustainable IT strategies that meet these challenges.
