MHDC Data Products

The Consortium started has been involved with Massachusetts Hospital Discharge data since 1978.  Initially we collected data from the hospitals; currently we obtain it from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  We make it available to our customers in various forms, and provide analysis and value added services for a nominal fee.

Available Databases:
  • Inpatient Discharge Database
  • Emergency Department Database
  • Outpatient Observation Database
  • Physicians Licensure Database
All databases are available in Microsoft Access format. 
We also offer reports and extracts based on our data.  Some examples are:
  • Patient Origin by Hospital or Town
  • Market Share by Hospital or Town
  • DRG Reports
