Understanding the Final Meaningful Use Rule

The federal government has finally released the long-awaited final regulations that define “meaningful use” and that set out the other program rules for the electronic health record adoption incentives that were part of the 2009 federal stimulus bill.  As part of its ongoing mission to disseminate knowledge of value to the Massachusetts healthcare community, the Consortium is offering this in-depth, two-hour overview of the federal EHR incentive program.  This presentation will cover the provisions of the stimulus bill that relate to the adoption and use of health information technology, the activities of the Office of the National Coordinator, and the details of the final meaningful use rule.
